MILWAUKEE, WI (October 31, 2019) – TKO Miller is pleased to announce the successful sale of Warehouse-Lighting.com, LLC, a value-added distributor and marketer of high-quality, energy efficient LED fixtures to Benford Capital Partners, LLC, a Chicago-based private equity investment firm with a focus on niche manufacturing, service companies, and distributors in the middle market.
Since its founding in 2008 by James Abraham, Warehouse-Lighting.com’s product breadth, efficient sourcing, and high-touch service has created significant value for customers in the industrial, commercial, residential, and municipal lighting markets. In 2017, the Company created its own line of lighting fixtures under the WareLightTM name which now represents the majority of its sales, and most recently, the Company launched a brand-specific website exclusively for WareLightTM products. Through this transaction with Benford Capital, Warehouse-Lighting.com will have access to greater capital to continue its rapid growth. Mr. Abraham will remain as CEO and retain an ownership position in the Company going forward.
“Warehouse-Lighting.com has a unique business model that includes an efficient, convenient e-commerce platform, as well as high-touch support from knowledgeable salespeople who assist customers with the complexity of choosing the right lighting products for their needs,” said Erik Eidem, Director, TKO Miller. “Finding a buyer that understood this unique model and had the experience with growing companies alongside founders was a key consideration in selecting the buyer.”
“Having grown Warehouse-Lighting.com to a very successful Company during the past ten years, I was ready for the next chapter,” said James Abraham, CEO, Warehouse-Lighting.com. “In addition to achieving some liquidity, I was looking for a partner that could help me build on our strategy and provide access to the resources necessary to allow Warehouse-Lighting.com to fulfill its potential.”
